Hi, I’m Shelby Marie and I am the Founder of Akouo; a lifestyle + ritual brand. I became a certified 200-hr yoga instructor in 2016, and since have certifications accomplished in: 300-hr E-RYT, 200-hr Forrest Yoga, Primordial Sound and Meditation, Pre and Post Natal Yoga, + Birth and Postpartum Doula.
In my life, I have experienced emotions of feeling disconnected from reality due to external sources (motherhood, family/friends, work), my value, authentic self, and have encountered physical + emotional trauma. Daily rituals, products/movement/spirituality, were the only habits that returned my full faith to my intuition + embodied authentic self to radiate what I desire for my life.
Since Winter 2022, I have been on a deeper spiritual and ancestral journey to harness my gifts, power, authenticity, and value/worth. Through my own experiences + healing journey, I am called to provide support to others in harnessing their own embodiment, power, + living in their truth.
I integrate all of my wisdom, including being an Oracle/Channeler working with Tarot and Oracle Card Readings to provide a specialized wholesome support for your physical + emotional body. I am a Light Worker. It is my mission to support others in harnessing their most empowered, authentic, self through having faith in their intuition and emotional stability within the body.

Our Work Together
I strategically and intelligently work with clients that knowingly or unknowingly have inner child wounding and/or emotional trauma from life experiences held within the body, experience physical discomfort due to life experiences that are long past overdue to be released. Fight, flight, fawn, freeze responses + anxiety, depression, not living to your authenticity will show up as physical and mental ailments.
For example: anxiety and panic attacks, gut issues, headaches/migraines, survival dreams or nightmares, consistent sinus/cold symptoms, excess mucus and needing help with lymphatic drainage, clenched jaws, consistent tweaked muscles especially in the neck and shoulder areas, etc.

Practices
Each class is a curated sequence based off of our initial consultation, what your physical and emotional body needs support and growth in, and the journey of us working together. No class will be the same, as each class will be specialized. The yoga duration of the class is restorative, holding each pose for approximately 6 breaths, and includes body-work inspired hands-on assists simultaneously working on your physical and emotional body.
Navigating to the Somatic Embodiment Dance portion of the practice, you will experience guided dance movement that assists in diving deeper into your emotional body. I guide you through the sensations you may experience when stored emotions arise and how to alchemize these sensations into harnessing your most empowered + authentic self.
I provide you guided support and sacred space to voice your truth, expression, and processing. I encourage you to be in a curious, abundant, and manifesting mindset.
A place where you are safe and highly encouraged to embody the inner world you have been desiring and envisioning, so I can support you in actionable steps to make them your reality.
Let go of old stories and create new stories. Use the knowledge provided from your energetics (astrological and chakras), higher self, source(s) you call on; to harness your power and embody your empowered, authentic, self.
